Right now im a missionary in Twin Falls, Idaho. I live under Brant; and these comics help the youth get all hyped and excited to read them. It is literally getting the scriptures to come to life. Good stuff, can't wait for more.

I bought a subscription of 6 books but have only received one (the original) so far. When can I expect the other comics? Tom ** ** ** From: MormonComics Currently we have Issue 2 slated for a christmas 2006 release. We are releasing issues much slower than initially anticipated. Because of this we no longer offer subscriptions for sale on our site. However all current subscriptions will be fufilled when the issues release (subscribers will be the first to recieve the new issues). We are offering subscription refunds for anyone who wishes to get a refund. Just contact brant@mormoncomics.com or doug@mormoncomics.com (sales) to request a refund. having been born and raised LDS I never would have thought I would have become a tattooist. I am very inspired by the images that I have seen on this site, and now have more inspiration to create more "powerfull" art. I love this book, however do not own a copy, but I will soon!! Keep it up. In a world so full of negative things its nice to see someone create something meaningfull!!!!

I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE READ THE BOOK OF NEPHI TRYING TO READ THE WHOLE BOOK OF MORMON. THE THING IS FOR THE MOST PART I COULDN'T REALLY REMEMBER THE DETAILS THAT THIS COMIC BOOK BRINGS TO LIFE. I LOVE HOW IT SO DETAILED-MY MIND CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE EMOTION OF EACH CHARACTER. WHICH HELPS TO REMEMBER THE STORY LINE BETTER. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE SECOND ISSUE! THIS TRULY AS AN AMAZING IDEA.

If you're gonna make the Book of Mormon a comic book, this is the way to go about it. Sure, Nephi and the other characters look different from one page to the next, but I see a lot of potential and have high hopes for the future. I really appreciate the scriptural text and the references throughout. It makes the book actually more than entertainment.
Comparing it to Allred's "The Golden Plates", though the artwork is less consistant, the theory is better and the portrayals of such things as angels and the Holy Ghost make me say "Oh, that's a heavenly messenger" instead of "AHH! That thing is CREEPY!!!!", which is what Allred's version made me think.
This is a good solid comic book, just needs a little perfection in the consistancy of artwork, but that will, I trust, come in time.
Allred vs. Peery: Peery wins!

The main characters are way to muscular, I like the fact that this book is being done I'm a huge fan of comics, but it's to unrealistic. Nephi looks like He-Man for crying out loud. It's to late to change it now, I hope that it does good. Good Luck!

I'm a missionary out in Twin Falls in the Idaho, Boise Mission. Been serving here for about 4 1/2 months and just met Brant a few weeks ago. He introduced me to the book and I really like the idea of the concept behind it. After looking through the book and reading the comic I really enjoyed it. I also really liked the fact that it gave scriptural references as the comic proceeded. The story line was good and followed the Book of Mormon very well. The only thing for improvement that I would like to see would be for the artwork to be a little more consistent. Overall it was a very well done project and I am looking forward for future issues.

I was able to purchase this book at a book signing and meet the artist. I am excited to have a signed and numbered copy. I love how he has brought the characters to life and kept the story true to the scriptures. I have read this book already over 5 times since I bought it I love to look at the artwork. I have shared my copy with all of my family and they had to have thier own copies. I just can't wait till the 2nd issue is available. I am first in line!!!
